Liz Truss has today shared a bizarre picture of herself holding a lamb outside a derelict church on Easter Sunday.
The former prime minister posted the baffling snap on X/Twitter alongside a message that simply read ‘Happy Easter’.
She posed outside the fenced off St Mary’s church in Beachamwell, in her Norfolk constituency, while clinging on to the animal, which is traditionally roasted and served up on families’ plates over the holiday.
The derelict 11th century church was left in ruins after it went up in flames in February 2022 when a spark from welding repairs landed om its thatched roof.
Work began in October last year to recreate the roof which will be re-thatched.
