Wilsons Creek National Battlefield looking for volunteers to help in Park Day clean up [Video]

REPUBLIC, Mo. (KY3) – Community groups and volunteers will be cleaning up Wilson’s Creek National Battlefield on Saturday for Park Day.

Volunteers will help prepare booklets, paint benches, and clean out the stream. Others will have projects for families with kids.

Volunteers are advised to bring work clothing, closed-toe shoes or boots, sunscreen, and a sack lunch.

Volunteers are asked to meet at the Visitor Center at 9 a.m. to split into work groups.
