Man arrested for 3 DC construction worker robberies [Video]

In one case, the 20-year-old man pointed a gun at a group doing landscaping work outside a home. Another group was robbed while eating lunch.

WASHINGTON — A D.C. man is in custody for a string of armed robberies targeting construction workers in Northeast. Police arrested 20-year-old Tristian Wilson on Monday. He was charged with three counts of robbery. 

The first robbery happened on Sept. 13. According to police, at around 1:15 p.m. that day, a worker saw Wilson rummaging through a coworkers car in the 300 block of 58th Street, Northeast. Wilson then approached the worker and pointed a gun at him, taking his property. He took the property and ran off. Police did not say what property was taken. 

Then, on Wednesday just before noon, three workers were eating lunch on a sidewalk in the same area when Wilson pulled a gun and demanded the trio’s property. The …
