CEO of Together Digital works to empower women in the workforce [Video]

CINCINNATI (WXIX) -A local woman is continuing to build an organization that connects women in technology nationwide.

Amy Vaughan is the CEO of Together Digital, an organization that educates and empowers women who work in digital marketing, advertising, and technology.

Before becoming CEO, Vaughan was a company member in 2016 when she was trying to maintain a work-life balance.

”I was a creative director working 60 hours a week, raising two small children. I felt very isolated. I had the title I always wanted. I had the career I always wanted, but I didn’t feel that sense of accomplishment or fulfillment,” Vaughan said.

She says it changed after learning about the company.

Vaughan started attending different events and volunteering with like-minded women.

She says she saw an improvement in her professional life.

Once the previous owner left the company, she saw the opening as a new opportunity for her.
