Women Link Conference in Morgantown [Video]

MORGANTOWN, W.Va (WDTV) -Morgantown played host to the Women Link Conference today.

Women from all over America came together to learn and connect with other women. Officials say it’s about helping women in life and the workplace.

“Not many mentors that look like them, so it’s hard to coin the phrase, hard to be what you can’t see. It’s just getting more women into leadership roles and helping make a more equitable society,” said Melanie Paige, Director of NASA West Virginia Space Grant Consortium.

Ladies in attendance heard from a panel of women leaders in higher education and NASA. Topics, such as work-life balance and gaining confidence, were discussed. Attendees loved the experience today.
