Second Chick-fil-A location coming to Flowood [Video]

FLOWOOD, Miss. (WLBT) – Get ready Flowood because a second Chick-fil-A location is coming to your area.

Earlier on Wednesday, the groundbreaking ceremony for the new location took place.

The turnout was great, with certain elected officials, City of Flowood representatives, and the Flowood Police Department there.

Most are probably familiar with the Chick-fil-A in the Dogwood area, and there will now be one on Lakeland Drive as well.

So if you are headed to Jackson for work or other reasons, this will be the perfect spot for you.

Alderman Kathy Smith mentioned that this would be a great place to grab breakfast or lunch.

“People are leaving out, you know, going into Jackson for work or Madison, you know, wherever they’re going,” said Alderman Smith. “I think this is going to be an excellent spot for breakfast and lunch especially.”
