On Monday, the roads were still covered in sheets of ice causing for dangerous driving conditions, a week after a snowstorm hit the area.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — “It sucks because I don’t work from home, and I had to borrow my girlfriend’s car to leave the house.”
Meredith Shock isn’t happy about her unplowed roads in the Schnitzelburg neighborhood. She thinks more could have been done to make her and her neighbors feel like their neighborhood matters.
“I feel less important, I know we aren’t an emergency route, and I understand, I see a snowplow on the highway and I’m like why are you here, you’re not needed anymore you need to do these side roads,” Shock said.
According to Shock, the city didn’t salt the roads around her.
