While the Halloween of ’24 certainly is a wet one, it was still nothing like ’91.
ROGERS, Minn — Parts of Minnesota are covered in snow during Halloween, and folks are clearing their driveways in hopes of trick-or-treaters or reevaluating their costumes.
In Rogers, folks were shuffling from their cars to the warmth of the grocery store quicker than usual.
“In the morning there was all this rain,” said Marty Florek, who stopped by Cub to pick up lunch. “And when I came into work and I was a little shocked to see it had changed over to snow the way it did.”
Donna and Bryan Flemming were opposite in their feelings about the snow.
“I don’t really mind the snow, I’m so happy!” said Donna.
“It’s really cold on my hands, can’t wait to go home,” said Bryan as Donna giggled.
Donna affectionately remembers the Halloween snow dump of 1991.
