The news that the princess will attend three of the events on the Amir’s state visit has been met with excitement by royal fans after Kensington Palace confirmed the news on Monday.

One fan wrote on X: “Yay that’s wonderful.”

Another said: “I’m so excited for tomorrow! Catherine, you have been dearly missed”

The state visit will be the last held at Buckingham Palace until 2027 as more renovations are set to take place.
