PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – Dozens of Portland-area mail carriers called for their fellow union members to vote against a tentative agreement reached with the U.S. Postal Service.
The group representing the Portland Branch 82 of the National Association of Letter Carriers rallied in front of the East Portland Post Office on Sunday afternoon.

They call the current contract agreement between their union’s leaders and the USPS a “slap in the face.”
They say it doesn’t do enough to protect work-life balance and deal with inflation.
The vote will take place during the next month.
The Postal Service said it respects the rights of its employees to express opinions while off the clock.
