An employee who “finally snapped” when they were once again expected to share their lunch at work has been met with huge support online for refusing to fork their food over moving forward.
The original poster (OP), Reddit user Uni-cornGlow_21, works in an office where their coworkers seem to think that, “What’s mine is yours”, applies to food, they explained in a post on Jan. 17.
Popular Target
Since the OP brings home-cooked meals to work, while some others show up empty handed, their lunch became a popular target for hungry colleagues.
According to the OP’s post, their fellow employees made a habit of asking for a bite of their lunch, and at first, they didn’t mind sharing, “A little here and there.”
But soon enough, it became a “daily” thing. Certain coworkers even stopped asking and just reached for their food freely.
One day, the OP noted, they’d had enough.
