First Alert Forecast: Mainly dry for the morning, but the evening commute will be a wet one [Video]

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Our gloomy stretch of weather continues today with cloudy skies ahead of afternoon and evening showers.

Temperatures this afternoon will again be mild with highs climbing into the upper 50s to low 60s.

After lunch time, showers will start to roll in, which will make for a fairly rainy commute home from work and school.

Heavy rain will move in after sunset with temperatures dropping into the mid to upper 50s overnight.

Lingering showers will be possible for the Wednesday morning commute with rain tapering off to the northeast through the afternoon. If you live in the mountains, rain could linger into the mid afternoon hours.

Wednesday will be another mild day with highs in the mid 60s.
