This is the first year that Diane’s Greenhouse is listed as a Nebraska Passport destination. The business is at 88781 557 Ave. in Fordyce.

When Diane Dickes wanted to work from home, she started selling plants. Twenty-four years later, her business has expanded to six greenhouses on two acres.

You can get a taste of farm life in Nebraska’s panhandle during a tour of the Wiedeman House on the grounds of the Legacy of the Plains Museum in Gering.

People can still register for the 2024 Tractor Relay Across Nebraska through May 1.
