Chance for rain returns today, sharp cooldown tomorrow [Video]

Good morning! Your drive to work will be dry today, but for the lunch break and afternoon drive home, have a rain jacket handy as we will have our first chance of rain for the month arrive.

A cold front is draped across Minnesota and will be moving our way today bringing with it showers and isolated rumbles of thunder beginning late morning into the afternoon. The overall severe threat is low today. The system will weaken as it approaches, but will hold together enough to bring us a chance of rain. Thankfully, it will not be raining in one spot all day long.

The cold front passes us by during the mid afternoon, ending that chance for rain but a weak disturbance could flare up a shower or two during the evening. Continue to have that jacket handy for any of those Thursday High School games tonight. Overall rain …
