GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Hundreds of FOX Carolina viewers expressed concern on Facebook over ongoing Spectrum issues since Helene hit.
“My stepson works from home. He has been finding places to go and get internet so he can work,” Chris Simpson said.
“I work from home. I ended up having to go to other places to work everyday,” Lisa Lawrence said.
Simpson and Lawrence have similar stories: Upstate Spectrum customers left without internet service for weeks. Lawrence got so fed up, she switched providers. “I don’t have the outages I have before, so I’m happier,” she said.
But for Simpson, Spectrum is his only option in Clinton. It’s now causing a financial predicament.
“We have to pay our bills, and we want our service in a timely manner; and the customer service should be a lot better,” Simpson said.
