Construction at Bowman and Kanis Road to be finished before 2025 [Video]

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Recently, some drivers have noticed construction and confusion at the Bowman and Kanis Road intersection in west Little Rock.

Elijah Brown, who works in the area, is one of them.

“When I leave for work or return from break or lunch,” Brown said. “There’s a lot of traffic, and getting back here on time is hard for me.”

According to Little Rock Public Works Director Jon Honeywell, the construction is part of a project that began 10 years ago near Shackleford Road.

The project has now moved west to Bowman Road, and Honeywell said he’s heard some drivers are confused by the temporary changes to the intersection.

He said that his office is following this every single day.
