The WXII First Warning Weather Team is tracking a weather system that will bring a chance of a few rounds of rain to our area on Monday. While localized flooding is possible from a waves of moderate to heavy rain, you may have to be under thunderstorms repeatedly to see a greater risk for flash flooding. Monday’s excessive rainfall forecast is a level two or slight risk for the Blue Ridge Parkway east toward Greensboro. A marginal risk or level one excessive rainfall threat extends from Greensboro east toward Raleigh.
