4WARN WEATHER DAY: Multiple rounds of severe storms likely today and tonight [Video]

SYNOPSIS – The day starts off quiet, but business picks up around lunch time as the first of a couple rounds of thunderstorms move through the region, with a second round coming before and right around sunrise Friday morning. Strong damaging winds will be the primary threat with both rounds, but an isolated tornado and some hail cannot be completely ruled out. We’ll dry out into Friday afternoon, then drier and much cooler weather continues through Mother’s Day weekend. Rain chances return again to kick off the following work week.
