Woman’s Husband Invites Mom on Two-Week Couples’ Trip Without Telling Her [Video]

A woman says she was looking forward to a weeks-long trip with her husband and dog — until he announced he had also invited his mother.

In a post shared anonymously to Reddit, the woman describes herself and her husband as “digital nomads,” noting that they spend six months out of every year traveling abroad when they aren’t home in the U.S. This year, they’re focusing on exploring Brazil, as their families live in the country.

“It’s just me, him and our baby dog, enjoying our mighty time as couples,” she writes. Or, at least, that’s what she thought it would be.

During a recent dinner, though, her husband dropped the news that he and his mother have decided that she should come along for a two-week portion of the trip.
