A study has been carried out by Bunq to reveal the most expensive European capitals for digital nomads, people who travel while working remotely.
The research shows that Dublin is the second-most expensive European capital behind London in terms of cost of living for ‘digital nomads.
The fintech’s Working Abroad Index, which analyses data from open sources, shows that the monthly expenses for a digital nomad in Dublin have risen €42.41 this year to €2,633.78.
Food costs have decreased slightly this year, but the rent for a one-bedroom apartment has climbed to €1,861.90 per month, and coworking spaces are now more expensive due to the rise of remote work.
