Portland’s string of sunny days continues Wednesday after morning clouds dissipate.
The National Weather Service believes any clouds that are around early Wednesday will break apart quickly and leave the metro area with sunny skies. Overall, temperatures will be about normal for mid-June with highs in the low-to-mid 70s in the valleys and in the 50s and 60s along the coast.
Portland has a few clouds around parts of the city as of 5:30 a.m. but will see sunny skies before the lunch hour. The high will be about 74 degrees.
Thursday will likely be the week’s warmest day with highs reaching toward 80. Portland’s official high temperature estimate is about 78. The morning will start with fewer clouds and winds will be calm early in the day, then blow 5-7 mph out of the north/northwest.
