This weeks JA People of Action is Allison Edwards [Video]

This week’s JA People of Action is Allison Edwards of 7 Mountains Media. Allison graciously gave her time to assist with mock job interviews at Greenwood High School and has been a volunteer with Junior Achievement for several years. When asked her favorite part of JA Allison replied, “ My favorite part of JA is the hands-on learning experience. The practical exercises and real world scenarios help kids and teenagrs to understand the complex concepts in business and economics much better than traditional classroom methods.” Volunteers like Allison are the foundation of JA and ensure classroom requests for Junior Achievement assistance can be filled. When asked to share a quote about her JA experiences, Allison replied, “It was a pleasure to participate in the GHS Mock Interviews. I enjoyed getting to experience and discuss with the kids their future plans after highschool.” Thank you for supporting JA, Allison!
