PARAGOULD, Ark. (KAIT/Gray News) – A Paragould High School administrator wasted no time when every second mattered.
During lunch duty on Jan. 8, Assistant Principal Caleb Williams noticed a student choking. It happened so quickly and quietly that others sitting around the student did not see the signs. Thankfully, Williams did.

“You always wonder what you’re going to do in these situations. I guess I picked it right this time,” Williams said. “You’ve always got to help the students.”
The Paragould School District said security video showed the student grabbing his throat seconds before Williams came in to help.
