First Alert Weather Day: Hot with a chance of storms for Fathers Day [Video]

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – It’s another warm and muggy start to the day, with temperatures in the low to mid 70s.

Through the afternoon, temperatures will climb into the low to mid 90s under mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies, but it will feel more like the triple digits.

A few storms will be possible, mainly after 1 p.m. If you have any lunch or early evening dinner plans with dad, be mindful an isolated storm or two may be around.

The work week starts hot and humid, but mainly dry. Tomorrow maybe an isolated storm will be possible, but the rain chance is 10% at best.

Temperatures Monday will start a touch cooler, in the low 70s, and top out in the low 90s.

Some slightly drier air and a breeze builds in Tuesday through Thursday, which will make for a much more pleasant week.
