Former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles retired from the NFL in August. Since then, he’s dedicated much of his time to being a dad and husband.

In a recent episode of the “Dadville” podcast, Foles talked about why he loves to watch his daughter play soccer.

“My daughter plays soccer, and my brothers-in-law — one was a basketball and football player, the other was basketball — so they coach soccer,” Foles began. “It’s so fun to watch them because they have the good drill work and stuff, and they do such an awesome job with them. But I’m also thinking that soccer’s just a fascinating sport. I love watching it because it was something I did not excel at. So, I actually enjoy watching things that I really don’t know much about.
