Conference for local artists happening this week [Video]

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – A two-day conference for artists is being held in Parkersburg.

The Parkersburg Picalilli Artists Conference is for working artists, arts organizations, college art students, or anyone who wants to build their creative side hustle.

The two-day event will occur on Wednesday, Sept. 11, and Thursday, Sept. 12. Starting at 8:30 a.m. on both days.

The event will be held at the Parkersburg Art Center.

Student tickets are $65, and regular tickets are $90 for the full two days. Tickets include breakfast and lunch on Wednesday.

Ticket sales close at noon on Tuesday.
