KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – As Kansas City Royals players continue making big plays on the field in the Bronx, local businesses are thinking about big ideas with their food and drinks.
Several bars and restaurants across the Kansas City metro are creating their concoctions to recognize the Royals’ success this season.
“Everything in the restaurants is busier. People are in better moods, our lunch rushes are busier,” said Zarda BBQ COO Terry Hyre.
Zarda BBQ is offering a “Hunter’s Royale with Cheese” named after the Royals Outfielder Hunter Renfroe. Hyre said the Mississippi player loves his cheese so it has burnt ends, pulled pork, pepper jack cheese, cheddar cheese, onion straws, and BBQ sauce.
