Over 2,000 flights have been canceled nationwide from now through Wednesday, and several major airlines have already canceled travel into MSY on Tuesday.
JEFFERSON PARISH, La. — Larry Robbins is one of the travelers at MSY Monday, cutting vacation short and hoping to beat the snowstorm coming for much of the country.
“I honestly don’t want to have to deal with the nightmare that I’m expecting to happen tomorrow,” Larry Robbins said before boarding his flight Monday.
Not everyone was lucky enough to get on a plane early. Abbreviated trips, missed exams, and missed job interviews were a few of the woes we heard at Louis Armstrong Airport on Monday.
“I don’t think New Orleans is equipped to deal with snow, no deicing, and no snow removal,” Robbins said.
