Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport recorded more than 0.75″ of rain last night and this morning. This is the most substantial rain the city of Atlanta has recorded since Hurricane Helene.
A cloudy, chilly and gloomy Thursday evening is in the forecast. The sky is clearer southwest of Atlanta. The further northeast you go, the gloomier the conditions gets. Patchy drizzle is still possible. Gloom is holding-on around the immediate metro.
