What seemed like a dream deal quickly became a nightmare after a £400 purchase of Christian Louboutin trainers resulted in a delivery far removed from designer footwear.
The savvy shopper thought they’d scored a steal with the Louis leather high-top trainers listed at £400 on the thrift site – a significant discount compared to Selfridge’s retail price of £775.
However, when they arrived at an InPost locker to retrieve the parcel, their excitement apparently turned to disbelief.
Instead of high-end shoes, they claimed they were greeted by a carrier bag containing two onions.
