Walmart’s new, state-of-the-art home office is looking more and more complete by the day. Drive by the site of the future corporate campus and it’s hard not to get excited. “I’m just so excited for what this is going to bring to our community,” Bentonville Chamber of Commerce president Brandom Gengelbach said. “The opportunities that it’s going to provide.”The new campus will feature 12 office buildings, as well as a fitness center and a children’s enrichment center. The entire campus spans 350 acres. It’s the kind of setup you’d expect to see in a large city.”It really is a game changer,” Gengelbach said. “I think at the end of the day, we are all as communities competing for a talent. And we’re wanting to ensure we have the best environment for workers to thrive personally and professionally.
