Louisiana ranks in top 10 best US states to work from home [Video]

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A new study revealed that Louisiana is among the top 10 best states in the United States to work from home.

Desky, an ergonomic furniture brand, looked at data on internet speeds, electricity costs per kilowatt-hour and remote job openings in each state to find out which states are best for working from home, according to a news release.

“Working from home has become a widespread thing not only in the U.S. but across the globe; even the ‘norm’ for certain companies,” said Justin Marshall, founder of Desky. “In most cases, it is cheaper than being in the office through the lack of commuting.
